The Starlight Trust is an animal welfare and rescue organisation based in Surrey

Name/s: Harry
Species: Woodpigeon
Gender: Unknown
Age: Adult
History Harry was in a garden unable to fly. Initial reports were that he had a broken wing but it looks as though it’s hopefully bruised and not actually broken.
Updated: December 4, 2016

Harry went to Forget Me Not Wildlife Rescue to spend some time in their aviary. Since he didn't recover the ability to fly, they decided to take an x-ray of his wing. This was inconclusive but it looks like Harry may have a bone tumour. So he is likely staying with them for life, unless anything changes. We're not sure how long that will be for, but Harry will be comfortable and cared for for whatever time he has left.
