Success Stories

Meet the animals who we have found new homes or returned to the wild

Angus and Rupert

Angus and Rupert

These boys were rescued from a home where rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils were living together in the same cage! We found them a lovely new home.
Dougal

Dougal

Dougal was rescued from a home where rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils were living together in the same cage! We found him a lovely new home.
The Downton Rats

The Downton Rats

These boys were rescued from a home where rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils were living together in the same cage! We found them a lovely new home.
Patrick

Patrick

Patrick had been desperately trying to survive in the wild with a broken leg and was thin and exhausted. He made a full recovery and has since been returned to the wild.
Homer

Homer

Homer had an extremely swollen, infected wing on arrival which we are currently treating. Unfortunately he didn't recover the ability to fly so we found him a permanent home with Burton Wildlife Rescue.
Frank and Ava

Frank and Ava

Frank and Ava were born in a risky situation. We raised them and they have since been returned to the wild.
Franz

Franz

Fran was treated for parasites and a respiratory infection and was then returned to the wild.
Andi

Andi

Andi came to us as she was biting in her home. She is definitely a girl who knows her own mind. Happily we were able to find her a home she approved of where she now lives with neutered males.
Eric and Hattie

Eric and Hattie

Eric and Hattie's nest was disturbed by building work. We raised them and they have now been returned to the wild.
Coco and Mumu

Coco and Mumu

These two older ladies were surrendered after a relationship breakdown. We found them a lovely new home with lots of new friends.
Julia and Jenny

Julia and Jenny

Jenny and Julia came to us when their owner passed away. Julia had a large lump which we had removed. They have since found a lovely new home.
Cass and Snow

Cass and Snow

The girls came to us when their tank broke and their owners couldn't afford to replace it. They have now found a lovely new home.

In Memory

We work so hard for all our animals but sometimes it’s just not enough. Every loss hurts so we keep their pages up on the website as a tribute to them.
