| Date of Birth: | Unknown but we estimate Smokey was born in 2014 and the girls probably late 2013. |
| History | Smokey was rescued from a neglect situation along with his brother Bandit. They were in a terrible state on arrival and sadly Bandit did not survive. Val and Tina’s original owner abandoned them with a friend and didn’t come back for them. The friend did his best but was not given information about their proper care so they were very underweight. |
| Temperament | All are exceptionally friendly and easy to handle. |
| Health | Despite their histories all three are now in good health. |
| Ideal home | This lovely trio would like a home with a large, all metal cage to live in. They are active and intelligent so time out of the cage as often as possible will be appreciated. They are easy to handle so experience with degus isn’t essential but you’ll need to have researched their care. We also advise all degu owners to locate an exotic specialist vet who has experienced in treating degus. |
