The Starlight Trust is an animal welfare and rescue organisation based in Surrey

Name/s: Toffee
Species: Syrian Hamster
Gender: Female
Neutered: No
Date of Birth: Estimated July/August 2016
History Toffee was purchased from pets at home in early October 2016. She lived in one of their tiny starter cages with a wheel and house which were far too small for her to use comfortably. Her owners found her hard to handle and she apparently bit the children.
Temperament Toffee is perhaps best described as ‘highly strung’. She is a very bright girl who is easily bored and frustrated. She knows what she wants and she is determined she will get it. She cares not if you’re a giant human thing, if you get in her way, she’ll take you on!
Health Toffee is in good health
Ideal home Toffee needs a home with experience of hamsters who can not only handle her massive personality, but will relish and adore it! Her carers need to be adults and she will need a very large, highly enriched cage and plenty of time outside of the cage for exploring.
