News

For 2025, we have decided to consolidate all our social media presences into BlueSky. There are 3 basic reasons for this

  • The concerning policy changes at some other social media sites which now allow misinformation and hate speech.
  • To reduce the number of accounts and platforms we need to keep updated.
  • Because BlueSky allows us to embed a feed of our posts into our websites and you can view them whether you’re a member of the platform or not.

You’ll now see updates about all elements of our work together. Sometimes that will be stories about the pigeons in our sanctuary, sometimes it will be sharing how you can help sick and injured wildlife, and sometimes it will be advocating for better treatment and understanding of ‘unpopular’ species of wildlife such as pigeons and rodents. We’ll also share news about changes and improvements to our websites.

If you’d like to engage with our news, please join BlueSky and give us a follow!

Below are our previous blog posts, newsletters and annual reports in chronological order. Just click on ‘view’ to read them.
